Those attending our Club’s Annual Meeting on May 31 were privileged to hear Rex Rodanas ’12 talk for a minute about some innovative work his family is doing to help people in our community who were badly affected by the recent economic downturn. Of particular interest if you are into gardening is their tomato "Mission Garden" located at the Bedford Presbyterian Church, 4 Church Rd, Bedford, NH 03110. Your help would be appreciated. Click here to learn more about it.
The Club’s Annual Meeting on May 31 was one of our best! Compliments to Nancy and Fred Harwood for the splendid job they did preparing and organizing the meeting. Our Club’s President, Tim Cornell, had this to say after the meeting: “Fred and Nancy, you did an amazing job with the Annual Meeting today. Perfect in every way.” Fred and Nancy also prepared a nice handout to give the Annual Meeting attendees so they would know what our Club is doing. Click here to see a PDF version of the handout.
Operation CU Through is described in the Cornell Alumni Magazine. Click here for a copy of the article in PDF format. The operation is a volunteer program that supports Cornell alumni in our nation's armed forces and their families. The program is for those whose lives have been changed dramatically by military deployment. ● To enroll a Cornell military family in this program, send their contact information to cuthrough@cornell.edu. ● To volunteer to help, Click here to email our Club President.

We also want you to know that we give out a book (currently Strunk & White's The Elements of Style) to juniors at 13 different high schools in order to generate interest in Cornell. Click here to read a thank you letter from a recent recipient of one of our book awards.
